GIVING BACK

The New Beginning- Stronger, Better and Faster!
Dec 2009

Totally relax, yet totally serious and totally committed.

It has been one year since the massive earthquake in Sichuan, reminiscent of collapsed buildings and bridges could still be seen in the village areas. Reconstruction works flooded the entire area, and the local people are working constantly in every second to put their life back to together.  This is the new beginning for the people in Sichuan and The Switch was there again to bring power and courage to the people in Sichuan with Santa Claus from Rovaniemi. On November 25, 2009, The Switch, along with Fintrade Mercer Ltd., and Dong Feng Electric Ltd., returned to Hong Bai Primary School and Lui Shui Middle School with scarfs, hats, books, sport gears and uniforms and light up the faces of the children. Totally serious and committed, The Switch has showed these children that they have not been forgotten and that The Switch is working hard everyday to battle climate change to save the world for the them, the generation of tomorrow.  The children of Sichuan, no matter how little they are, or how little they could understand what is going on, as long as they know that someone out there is committed to them and to the world they will be living tomorrow, that is all that matters....

Together, with The Switch, these children are welcoming the new beginning with open arms.  They are stronger, better and faster than EVER!

"The Switch is working hard everyday to brings technology to save and conserve energy for the world, this is for you, for YOUR GENERATION TO COME" – Mikko Hamalainen's at Sichuan Hong Bai School Nov 25, 2009

Bringing Santa from Finland
Dec 2008

As part of good will and our belief in humanitarianism, we brought Santa Claus from Lapland, Finland to Sichuan. We want to bring joy, laughter, and comfort to all the brave survivors who endured this catastrophic event.

We want to let the earthquake survivors, especially the young children to know that the world care about them, and that they are always in our heart.
