Jari Vepsäläinen – Winner of the 5th GSIA Gold Shield Award

The global Security Industry Alliance’s Golden Shield Award is an  industry gold standard award that recognizes significant contributions that enrich the global security industry. The Gold Shield Award is presented to individuals, companies and trade organizations for their unfaltering support of and dedication to the responsible growth of the global security community. Nominees are reviewed by a committee of global security industry trade organisation professionals who evaluated each nominee on their contributions to the global security community over the past 10 years. This year the committee selected 11 nominees, from a slate of 50 nominees who they felt best exemplified steadfast and consistent support of the global security community.

This year Fintrade-Mercer’s own Chairman Jari Vepsäläinen was one of the 11 selected nominees who won the coveted honorable 5th GSIA Gold Shield Award.

Nomination and Contribution:

“Mr. Vepsäläinen has implemented more than 250 large and medium-sized investment projects in China since 1985. Mr. Vepsäläinen is also engaged in security systems consultant in the area of petrochemical, energy, ship building, telecommunications, health care, real estate, environmental protection and various industrial. Mr. Vepsäläinen also served as the chairman of nuclear power generation technology conference and the speaker of China high-tech BBS, new energy and green development summit and other related multiple international BBS”
